Airport Electrician I Department:
Airport Pay Range:
$18.78-$30.99 hourly dependent on knowledge and experience This is specialized work in the troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of Airport instruments, systems, control devices, and electrical equipment. Position is supervised by the Airport Electrician III and/or Maintenance Manager. Some high voltage work may be required under supervision. This position is subject to regular on-call/re-call and must participate in the Airport’s recall program. An employee in this category is also subject to work after hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or equivalent; and,
One (1) year experience in a commercial/industrial electrical field.
Education from an accredited college, university or technical school in an electrical field can be substituted on a one year for one year basis for experience lacking.
Necessary Special Requirements:
Possession of an appropriate driver license for equipment operated and any license, training or certification required by law or regulation to complete assigned tasks.
