POSITION CONCEPT

This position is responsible for light bulb changes, HVAC filter changes, oil spill clean-up and general routine responsibilities. Ensures all completed work complies with Safe Work Practices. Work is assigned from a Supervisor within Facility Services to perform the duties and responsibilities listed below.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates company vehicles with appropriate Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Operates forklift.
Replace light bulbs in all Facility Services supported buildings.
Replace air conditioning filters in all Facility Services support buildings.
Requires shutting off power at a local disconnect.
Work on ladder to change light bulbs and access roofs to change HVAC filters only.
Maximum ladder height is to be ten (10) feet.
No electric/hydraulic aerial devices (hydraulic man-lift, scissors-lifts, etc.) are to be used.
Use hand power tools (e.g. electric or battery operated drill motors, etc.) necessary to change light bulbs and HVAC filters only.
Assist with oil spill clean-up required.
Work Overtime as required.
General housekeeping duties.

Valid High School Diploma or valid GED

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Required :

Must possess good writing skills and basic computer skills. Will be required to take a 24 hour Hazwoper training classing to support oil spill response.
