Residential Electrical Service Technician Rozar Enterprizes, Inc. Clermont, FL Rozar Electric is a family owned and operated electrical contractor, with over 16 years of experience in quality electrical work. We currently work on all aspects of electrical projects, from small service calls to large commercial projects such as schools. We are looking to expand our team with hard-working individuals looking to grow their career in the commercial and residential electrical field. We provide insured company vehicles for Leads with a valid clean driving record. A valid Journeyman Electrical License is a plus, but it is not mandatory. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required for employment. A drug screen is required. As an Residential Electrical Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of residential systems. We are looking for candidates who are skilled in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of residential electrical equipment. If you have a strong background in residential electrician practices, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and have a keen attention to detail, we encourage you to apply for this position. The general work area is within a 50 mile radius of Groveland, with the main shop being located in Groveland. It is likely that you would be coming into the shop each day.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Perform troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure the proper installation and functioning of electrical components
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Skills:
- Proficiency in working with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of residential electrician practices and procedures
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate installation and alignment of electrical components
- Ability to detect electrical malfunctions using testing devices and diagnostic equipment
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the interaction between electrical systems and mechanical components
- Starting pay is based on experience and skill set. Paid weekly.
