Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Electrical Service Technician to join our team in Groveland, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential electrical systems, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential properties, ensuring all work meets safety and code requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems and equipment according to local and national electrical codes Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and accurately Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine system layouts Collaborate with fellow technicians and engineers to ensure proper installation and system integration Conduct safety and performance tests on electrical systems and equipment Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime Maintain detailed and accurate records of all services, repairs, and installations performed
Requirements:
Proficiency in both low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems Strong understanding of residential electrical practices and procedures Experience using precision measuring tools and diagnostic equipment Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of the interaction between electrical and mechanical systems Valid driver’s license with a CLEAN driving record (required for operating company vehicle) Ability to work independently, maintain professionalism, and prioritize safety at all times
