Job Description
Overview Responsible for the installations, maintenance, and repair of medium voltage electrical termination systems. Ensure the proper connection of medium voltage cables to various electrical equipment and systems.
Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:
Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures Work with MV switchgear, transformers, junction boxes, and related equipment to complete terminations and system integration Test, troubleshoot, and commission MV electrical systems, ensuring all components function properly and safely Comply with all safety norms and regulations of working Appropriate use and handling of electrical testing and repair equipment Collaborate with engineers and project managers to review plans, specifications and safety regulations Completion of all tasks as assigned by the supervising manager Maintain detailed records of work performed, testing results, and any issues encountered during the installation or commissioning process Mentor and train other team members on your crew Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools and equipment Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Requirements Education and Work Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and twelve months of experience as an MV Terminator Or equivalent combination of training and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Working Environment:
Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and extreme heat Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
