Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on electrical experience, capable of running an electrical service truck independently. This role involves handling residential new construction, residential service and commercial service projects, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain a fully stocked electrical service truck for daily service calls and job site work. Perform diagnostics, repairs, and installations in residential service, residential new construction, and light commercial environments. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including panels, circuits, lighting, receptacles, and equipment controls.

Complete new construction wiring:

layout, rough-in, trim-out, and final inspection prep. Maintain detailed job documentation and communicate status updates to the office and customers. Work independently at job sites while maintaining a professional and customer-focused demeanor. Coordinate effectively with team members, contractors, and homeowners to ensure smooth job execution.

Qualifications:

5+ years of electrical experience in residential and commercial settings Experience running a service truck independently and managing daily job schedules. Strong knowledge of the NEC and local code compliance. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a drug screening; we maintain a drug-free workplace. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and interpret technical documentation. Organized, dependable, and able to problem-solve in the field without supervision. Excellent communication skills and a professional, respectful attitude with clients and coworkers.
