Industrial Electrician Position Available In Manatee, Florida

Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for an Industrial Electrician for a Mechanical Maintenance company located in the Bradenton/Sarasota, FL area.

Duties:

• Troubleshoot causes of electrical failures.
• Install VFDs, generators, electrical motors, and automatic power transfer switches.
• Prepare sketches for electrical layout and installations.
• Calculate line leads to determine capacity, wire sizes, and equipment sizes.
• Knowledge of and adherence to all NEC requirements.
• Knowledge of testing, safety, and process-sensing equipment.
• Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and piping layouts.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member to complete daily activities according to the work schedule.
• Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Regular in-person attendance.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

• Industrial Electrician Experience:

  4+ years (required).

• The ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and piping layouts. (required).
• Troubleshooting Experience with 3-phase installations: 4+ years (preferred).
• Electrical Contractors License (preferred).
• Experience working/coordinating with FPL (preferred).
