JOB DESCRIPTION

Training will be for 2weeks Monday to Friday 6am to 6pm and then will transition tonights.

Interview:

Manager will be conducting onsite interviewsElectrician Perform electrical, mechanical, sheet metal, weldingand pipefitting duties which involve replacing, repairing, andcleaning equipment and/or component parts.

Principal Duties andResponsibilities:

1. Performs all functions of the job in a safemanner 2. Replace or repair equipment and/or component parts asrequired 3. Inspect the equipment to determine condition and stateof repair 4.

Perform electrical maintenance including:

• Electricalsystems analysis – check for shorts, faulty equipment, etc., thenperform complete repairs, as necessary.
• Replacement of defectivewiring.
• Installation and/or repairs of minor electricalcomponents which include motors, receptacles, etc.
• Reading andanalyzing electrical diagrams or schematic drawings and make neededrepairs. 5. Perform mechanical maintenance such as or in example:
• Replacement or repair bearings, shafts, gears, belts, impellers,etc.
• Repair of all handling equipment.
• Alignment of all drivecomponents
• Replacement of hydraulic components including valves,pumps, cylinders, etc.

6. Performs any type of electric arc andacetylene welding and cutting assignments using generally acceptedwelding and cutting procedures. 7. Assembles, disassembles, orinstalls mechanical equipment working from engineering drawings,field sketches, other related documents, and verbal fieldinstructions needed to perform assigned duties. 8. Must beproficient in all machine shop equipment, hand tools, power toolsand precision instruments. 9. Performs regular fire and safetyinspections and issues reports. 10. Participates in the safety andgood housekeeping programs as established within the plant. 11.Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the jobas directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High School Diplomaor GED.
• Minimum of 2 years industrial electrician.
• Must be ableto understand verbal and written instructions.
• Must possessstrong communication and organizational skills.
• Must work well inteam environment.
• Must have the ability to do basic mathematicalcalculations.
• Must be willing and able to train others onadvanced craft or controls related skills.
• Must learn newcontrols technologies and systems as required throughout plant.
