Location:

Water Reclamation Iron BridgePerforms responsible, journey-level electrical work involving the installation, maintenance and repair work of equipment, machinery, power appliances, fixtures, or other electrical components. Work is performed under the supervision of a technical supervisor. Work is subject to review while in progress and upon completion for compliance with acceptable electrical standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Electrician IHigh School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years of electrical experience; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience. Some positions may require a valid Florida Driver’s License prior to employment. Some positions may be required to pass an annual respirator physical; no facial hair allowed between the face and sealing surface of the respirator face plate. Must have a cell phone or home phone.

Electrician IIHigh School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and four (4) years electrical experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must possess an Orange County Journeyman Electrician Competency card or equivalent. Some positions may require a valid Florida Driver’s License prior to employment. Some positions may be required to pass an annual respirator physical; no facial hair allowed between the face and sealing surface of the respirator face plate. Employees assigned to the Streets and Stormwater Division must have some experience in industrial automation and instrumentationAdditonal Requirements

• May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance and GOAA ID badge within ninety (90) days of their date of hire
