Maintenance Electrician Job Description Perform tasks such as lubricating equipment, measuring wear, and observing operations to prevent breakdowns. Respond to and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner to maintain plant operations. Install wire and conduit, replace faulty components (relays, switches, motors), and repair electronic components. Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, AC and DC drives, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Read electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and create electrical line drawings and schematics. Follow all safety rules and practices. Maintain records of work performed.
