Job Title:
Maintenance Electrician Job Description As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment. This includes lubricating equipment, measuring wear, and observing operations to prevent breakdowns. You will also respond to and resolve emergency breakdowns in a timely manner to maintain plant operations. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as lubricating equipment, measuring wear, and observing operations. Respond to and resolve emergency breakdowns to maintain plant operations. Install wire and conduit, replace faulty components such as relays, switches, and motors, and repair electronic components. Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, AC and DC drives, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Read electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and create electrical line drawings and schematics. Follow all safety rules and practices. Maintain records of work performed. Essential Skills Strong electrical aptitude. Experience in maintenance, preventative maintenance, and mechanical tasks. Ability to troubleshoot various systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, AC and DC drives, and PLCs. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic. Mechanically inclined with experience in machine PMs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to work in a non-climate controlled facility.
