Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years extensive mechanical background required. Five years hospital or industrial required. Must be capable of handling general maintenance repairs, such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and any other mechanical repairs, as well as preventive maintenance functions. Position Summary The Maintenance Mechanic III will have experience with hospital generators and switch gear. Chillers and steam boilers, Ice machine repairs, med gas lines repairs, hospital bed repair, plumbing repair, cast iron, copper, PVC pipe and toilet replacement. Electrical repairs to light ballast electrical outlets and receptacles. Ability to trouble shoot air handlers, exhaust fans, and in room heat coils required. Knowledge of boilers and steam trap repairs. Ability to trouble all utility systems Plant Operations is responsible for maintaining. Ability to read as built and schematic drawings and interpret the drawings. Performs other duties as assigned.
