Electrical Apprentice Electric Essence Clearwater, FL 33755 Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both residential and industrial settings. Duties Assist licensed electricians in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete assigned tasks. Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Participate in frame carpentry as needed for electrical installations. Perform troubleshooting using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to identify issues within electrical systems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site to ensure personal and team safety. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical training program is a plus. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices. Familiarity with industrial electrician tasks is preferred. Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively. Experience using voltmeters, power tools, and hand tools is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction as needed. Ability to work well in a team environment on construction sites.
