Job Description

  • Friday with occasional Saturday if neededHours worked per day: TBD
  • Eight (8) hours with limited Overtime if needed One half hour (30 minute) unpaid lunch break and two (2) ten (10) minute paid rest breaks
Occasional Mandatory OvertimeEssential Duties:

1. Work closely with Engineering and Operations to complete all mechanical/electrical projects.2. Supervise and guide maintenance mechanics in executing daily tasks and projects.3. Change over and adjust all machines (JIM, Tape, WEB) as production schedule warrants4. Read blue prints and fabricate, assemble and install per drawing.5. Troubleshoot and repair major and minor issues on all equipment6. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision7. Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring and PLC issues8. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment9. Keeps an organized and clean maintenance department10. Responsible for ordering and maintaining parts inventory.11. All other duties as assigned by plant supervisor

Position Responsibilities:

1. Must be a team player with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers2. Able to work independently with minimal supervision at times3. Must be teachable

Required Qualifications:

1. High School diploma required at minimum2. Minimum 7 years of related work experience.3. Vocational or related training in mechanical fields preferred4. Must have good knowledge of 3 Phase Electrical Power, Industrial Control Circuitry, and ability to read electrical schematics. Must also have understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) and AC Inverters.5. Must have good knowledge of pneumatic operations and controls6. Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic problems on equipment7. General knowledge of safety guidelines and OSHA requirements (lock out/tag out, etc)8. Experienced and proven welder (mig, tig and arc)9. Solid fabricating experience for miscellaneous parts, guards, racks, stands, etc10. Basic knowledge of computer and general software11. Experience in fast paced manufacturing facility preferredPhysical Requirements (See second page for further details):1.
