Job Title:
Commercial Electrician Job Description Join a dynamic start-up environment where your expertise will contribute to the installation and wiring of equipment inside generator enclosures. This role requires a solid understanding of basic electrical installations, including wiring AC and DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, and load centers. You will interpret current NEC codes and shop drawings while working on various electrical tasks. Responsibilities Perform full electrical installations inside generator enclosures. Run conduit and bend/install conduit for panels, transformers, and switchgears. Wire AC/DC lights and 3-way switches. Pull small and large wires and conduct QC inspections. Troubleshoot electrical systems and install termination/connector points to generators. Make connections with diesel supply/return pumps. Collaborate with a team of electricians, working on different sections of the enclosure. Essential Skills Electrical installation and troubleshooting. Conduit bending and sizing. Understanding of NEC codes and shop drawings. Ability to work as part of a team inside generator enclosures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Specific industry experience or an equivalent college degree. State certification is preferred. Work Environment Work in an industrial setting, both inside and outside. Initially, you’ll be a jack-of-all-trades electrician until systems are operational, then focus on wiring and building generator enclosures. The environment is non-temp controlled. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:30pm or 3pm-11pm Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Griffin, Georgia.
