Job Description:

The Quick Response Technician will respond to hot/cold calls inaddition to completing assigned preventive maintenance and reactivemaintenance to equipment and facilities in a safety conscious andteam-oriented environment. The candidate will need to have a strongunderstanding of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, painting, andhousekeeping of mechanical areas. Pay:

$22 – $29/hr. The pay listed is the salaryrange for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on thesuccessful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities,geographic location, and alignment with market data. 1st shift: 7amto 3:30pm – Monday-Friday.

Essential Functions:

• Troubleshoots maintenance problems involving electrical,structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.
• Performs routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinksor urinals, fixing water leaks, leaking faucets, and waterfountains.
• Performs routine electrical repairs such as changinglight bulbs or fluorescent lamps and might assist Electrician inrepairing ballast and light fixtures.
• Responds to hot/cold callsand makes necessary adjustments or escalates issue to a plantoperations team.
• Must be safety conscious and work safely withina team-oriented environment.

Various Heights:

The ideal candidate must becomfortable working in elevated environments. This includes tasksthat may require being at different heights for extended periods.

• Ladder Climbing:

  Regular climbing of ladders is a critical part ofthis position. The candidate must be capable of safely ascendingand descending ladders of various sizes and types.

UtilizingVarious Lifts:

Proficiency in operating a range of lifts isessential. This involves maneuvering scissor lifts, boom lifts, andother mechanical devices to reach higher areas. Minimum Educationand/or Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• 3-5years demonstrated maintenance experience in a commercial orindustrial setting.
• Knowledge of a variety of buildingmaintenance procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of occupationalhazards and safety precautions.
