Job Summary:

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a fast-paced, food-grade manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a safety-first mindset, and experience working with automated machinery and industrial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems, motors, controls, and production equipment. Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and make necessary repairs or recommendations. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve system reliability. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a food-grade or manufacturing environment. strong knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation systems. Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP) is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
