This position requires experience in leading crews, performing rough and finish electrical work, and proficiency in LMA (Layout, Measure, and Assist) tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to ensure electrical systems are installed efficiently and in compliance with local codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Duties:

Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical crew on-site. Interpret blueprints and project plans to determine job specifications and delegate tasks accordingly. Ensure work is performed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Communicate with general contractors, site supervisors, and project managers to align schedules and address issues.

Rough Electrical:

Install raceways, conduit, boxes, and wiring during the initial construction phase. Ensure all work meets NEC and local electrical code requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues during framing and before finish stages.

Finish Electrical:

Complete final wiring and installation of fixtures, outlets, switches, and panels. Conduct functional testing of installed systems and make final adjustments. Ensure a clean, professional finish that aligns with client expectations and project requirements. LMA (Layout, Measure, and Assist): Accurately interpret plans and layout electrical systems in coordination with other trades. Measure and mark locations for installations using tools such as levels, lasers, and tape measures. Assist lead electricians and other technicians in executing complex installations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, trade school or vocational training preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical construction, with demonstrated work in both rough and finish phases. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage small crews. Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting electrical schematics. Solid knowledge of NEC and local codes.
