Electrician – Foreman AF Electrical Contractors Inc Atlanta, GA 30308 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, construction management, and safety protocols. This role involves managing and supervising electrical installations, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, and utilizing construction management software to streamline project workflows. The Electrician will play a crucial role in building and maintaining electrical infrastructure for various projects. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with local codes and regulations. Supervise and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines. Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and HeavyBid for project tracking and budgeting. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical work within larger construction projects. Provide training and supervision to junior electricians and apprentices as needed. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices in the construction industry. Proficient in using construction management software including Prolog and HeavyBid for project management tasks. Strong budgeting skills to effectively manage project costs while maintaining quality standards. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively on job sites. Knowledge of pipeline installation processes is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
