As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with industry standards. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks on construction sites. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and general contractors, to complete projects efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role in an industrial setting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, high voltage applications, and NEC regulations. Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical documentation. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in construction sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Certification or relevant training in electrical work is preferred.
