Job Description
Electrical Shifter 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Shreveport, LA 71115 Overview The Electrical Shifter plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within our manufacturing environment. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical principles and the ability to work with high voltage equipment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess solid mechanical knowledge, and have experience with various electrical systems and maintenance practices.
Basic Duties:
Shifters should be responsible for executing all the corrective maintenance to keep equipment utilization at maximum capacity for production plans. Responsible to properly operate and maintain equipment and tools related to job role. Responsible for meeting the safety standards of his department including the use of personal protective equipment for different job tasks according to the company policies and practices. Required to attend company training, safety and technical programs, when scheduled. Complying with roles, responsibilities and provisions of one’s job description.

Must have 3 years’ experience in an industrial setting plus a technical degree in electrical or electronic technology. In addition, the applicant must pass a background check, full physical, performance assessment and drug test. There will also be a practical and theoretical exam administered by the maintenance department.
