Traveling Electrician Job Description We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our dynamic traveling team. This role involves installing electrical systems, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring reliable operation of various projects across the country. This is a travel electrician role for a project in Baton Rouge, LA. The project is a Verizon Data Center. Responsibilities Install wire and EMT conduit following blueprint specifications. Troubleshoot and maintain industrial and commercial electrical systems. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Work on electrical installations in data centers and other low voltage environments. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in a commercial or industrial setting as an electrician. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Experience with EMT conduit and wire installations. Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. In order to receive per diem, You must be at least 60 miles from the job sites in order to receive per diem. Work Environment The role requires a reliable presence at work every day, with hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Fridays for at least a half-day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White House, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $30.00/hr.
