Job Description
Electrical Technician 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Minden, LA 71055 Assists in the installation of conduit and electrical components into buildings. (Pay is based on experience!!!) The company is willing to interview anyone with any type of electrical knowledge and can train!! Bends and cuts various conduits per blueprint specification using appropriate tools. Mounts electrical boxes, fixtures, and enclosures. Stocks and sets up electrical wire carts. Pulls wire through conduit and makes ground connections. Reads blueprints to determine the placement of the wire. Installs and covers receptacles and switches. Performs other tasks as assigned by crew leader or supervisor.
Skills:
Must demonstrate basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure. Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude. Ability to read blueprints. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written. Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships and interact effectively with all levels of employees. Must be a team player. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of trade secrets.
