Maintenance Mechanic Electrical-Third or Hybrid Shift

Staffing Solutions Malden, MA 02148 We are seeking a Direct Hire, Electrical Maintenance Mechanic. The Electrical Maintenance Technician will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components and equipment. Must be knowledgeable in the principles and techniques commonly used in the electrical field, including programming, troubleshooting, PLCs, inverters, and single loop controllers. Experience with drives, motors, servos and PLC’s. Troubleshoot relay logic. Interpret electrical and mechanical situations to determine process failure, needs, and improvements. Consistent effort to stay current with modern technology, equipment, and regulations.. Complete assignments in a timely fashion Report to management any quality and safety problems and potential production problems that are encountered while performing the job. Perform all related job duties and other responsibilities assigned by supervisor or department manager. Specify and order parts and supplies related to job needs in a cost-effective manner.

Education and Experience:

Must be able to interpret electrical and mechanical situations to determine process failure, needs, and improvements. Must be able to perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Must be able to use test equipment. Must be able to design, install, repair, replace and maintain motors, drives, controls, starters, lights, power, communication, PLC, and other related systems Know the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the electrician’s trade. Know to diagnose and remedy maintenance problems. Knowledge of AC/DC drive programming. Knowledge of the National Electric Code. High school diploma or GED is required. Associate degree in a technical field is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance and electrical experience , PLC and food manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
