Second or Third Year Electrical Apprentice KC Electrical Contracting LLC Leominster, MA 01453 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on construction sites. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about high voltage systems, adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC), and develop essential skills in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Duties Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical layouts. Utilize power tools and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting issues with high voltage systems. Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance knowledge of electrical codes and practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components is a plus. Familiarity with power tools and safety practices on construction sites. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Willingness to learn about NEC regulations and high voltage systems. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
