This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in various aspects of electrical work. You will be exposed to a variety of tasks on construction sites, allowing you to develop essential skills needed for your future career. Duties Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites. Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems. Collaborate with experienced electricians to learn about high voltage systems and industrial electrician practices. Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations. Qualifications Basic understanding of blueprint reading is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade. Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating good teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to learn about high voltage systems and industrial electrical practices. A strong interest in pursuing a career as an electrician with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
