The Electrician Apprentice works under the guidance of a licensed electrician to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The role involves learning and following electrical codes and safety protocols while performing wiring, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance tasks.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Installation and Maintenance

• Support in the installation of electrical wiring, outlets, lighting, and other systems.
• Help install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit breakers.3.
• Learning and Development
• 4.
• Attend and actively participate in on-site training programs.
• Study electrical theory, local codes, and safety regulations as required by the apprenticeship program.5.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs
• 6.
• Assist with diagnosing electrical issues and troubleshooting systems, under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
• Replace and repair wiring, fixtures, and other electrical components.7.
• Safety and Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and regulations, ensuring personal safety and the safety of team members.
• Understand and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any relevant local codes.9.
• Use of Tools and Equipment

• Safely use hand tools (e.g., pliers, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, conduit benders) required for electrical work.
• Maintain and organize tools, materials, and equipment used on the job.11.
