Installs, services, repairs, replaces and maintainsall electric wiring and electrical equipment. Performs allfunctions of the position in conformity with applicable regulationsconcerning marine electrical systems and generally observed safetypractices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of shipyard experience as 1st classelectrician
- Formal training with certifications
- Must know Ship terminology
- Must comprehend blueprints and sketches
- Manipulate and operate all machines and tools essential to theperformance of the position of Electrician
- Traverse gangways and scaffolding at varying heights andnegotiate uneven heights
- Ascend and work at heights
- Must pass drug test and
