We are hiringskilled Marine Electrical Terminators for a shipyard in Houma, LA. Must be responsible for the complete installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on vessels, including the final “termination” of wires and connections, ensuring all electrical components are properly connected and functioning according to marine safety standards, often requiring advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in challenging environments on board ships.

• Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive electrical knowledge:
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC electrical systems, circuit theory, wiring diagrams, and electrical components
• Marine specific training:
• Familiarity with marine electrical standards, practices, and equipment specific to vessels
• Technical skills: Proficiency with electrical testing tools, multimeters, wire strippers, crimpers, and other relevant equipment
• Physical abilities:
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl through tight spaces, lift heavy equipment, and work in demanding physical conditions
• Problem-solving skills:
• Excellent analytical skills to diagnose complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions
