The job is installing smart apartment technology, such as locks, thermostats, and leak sensors. Training with these devices will be provided on-site, but you will need some handyman experience, including your own tools. The first day of the project will be May 5 and will run until approximately May 8. If you are a good fit for the team and available for future projects, there are almost constant opportunities available in the North Carolina area and beyond. Handyman experience is a huge plus. Ability to travel via car or plane is also a plus. Tools required include a drill/driver, screwdriver, wire stripper, and level. Some of these tools can be provided, if necessary. Pay is set as a daily rate, hours are 9-5, M-F. Timeliness and ability to consistently show up to work are very important. If you do not have reliable transportation, please do not apply. Since we will be in and out of apartments all day, it’s a great opportunity to keep your body moving and a getaway from the boring old office and retail jobs.
