As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layout of electrical systems. Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards and local building codes. Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure timely project completion. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their electrical needs. Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project. Skills Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical systems. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks associated with the job. Certification or licensure as an electrician is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered. 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
