Position Summary:

-This person will be responsible for providing electrical andmechanical support in response to operational changes resultingfrom the malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement or othermodifications of existing and new mechanical systems and/orequipment.

Essential Duties, Functions, andresponsibilities:

Maintain facility equipment utilizing criticalthinking and advanced troubleshooting skills.

Follows all worksafety policies and guidelines.

Completes all electrical/mechanicalwork that is needed in the facility.

Preform PM procedures thatreduce down-time and improve overall performance.

Complete all workorders as assigned.

Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices, productstandards, and guidelines.

Uses electrical schematics totroubleshoot.

Is familiar with Allen Bradely hardware, software, anddrives.

Ability to work in a team or stand alone, with or withoutdirect supervision.

Must be willing to train associates and receivetraining.

Maintains a clean and organized area.

Performs other dutiesas assigned.

Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendancefor scheduled work hours.

Utilize LOTO as required when by passingguards or servicing a piece of equipment.

Punctual set up/tear downof assigned equipment on daily basis.

Perform emergency equipmentrepairs either alone or with assistance from other mechanics orteam coordinators. –

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Have anelectrical license or other certifications.

Understand andtroubleshoot control voltage and line voltage.

Understanding andutilizing industry electrical prints.

Effective PLC maintenance andtroubleshooting.

Understands Vacuum theory.

Ability to work in afast-paced environment.

Ability to communicate effectively andfollow verbal and written instructions.

Follow diagrams, operationmanuals and manufacturing instructions.

Must be able to troubleshootmalfunctions in timely manner and find resolution.

Must be at least18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the UnitedStatesMust pass a background check, drug screen.

Must be able toread and write.

Need to be familiar in

SPC, HACCP, GMP’S

SSOP’S andUSDA.Computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. –

PhysicalRequirements:

Constant standing and walking (8 hours or more perday)Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling (up to and including50lbs or more).Reaching overhead.

Working from a ladder of raisedplatform.

Reaching below knees.

Ability to reasonablymultitask.

Working with electricity, tools, and wiring.

Completingrequired paperwork in timely manner.

Using material handlingequipment as needed. –

Working Conditions/DepartmentDescription:

Work in damp and cold environment as needed.

Work withloud and noisy machinery as needed.

Work in dusty environment whenusing spice as needed.

Work with raw meat as needed.

Work incongested areas as needed.
