- Must be able tooperate and repair at least 2 different types of forklifts.
- Technician must be able to work as a team or individually.
- Mustcomply with all Company SAFETY rules (LOCKOUT/TAGOUT, ETC) and GoodManufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.
- -Responsibilities
- Ensure all assign daily PM’s are completed.
- Ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.
- Provide assistance to other teams (Production, Quality
- whenneeded).
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and SafetyPractices at all times.
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment todetect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations withsupervisors or other personnel to diagnose problem or repairmachine.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs newor repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings gears, and other partsof machinery.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such astransformers and wiring, and electrical/electronic components ofmachinery and equipment.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure ofestablishment.
- Installs, programs, troubleshoot, or repairs automatedmachinery and equipment such as programmable controllers.

EDUCATION AND/OREXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent; Five (5) to ten (10) years related experience and/or trainingor

Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehendEnglish. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such asblue prints, safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, andprocedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine correspondence. Must have the ability to calculate figures, read tapemeasurement, and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area,and machine or equipment calibration specifications.
