Job Description

Commercial/Industrial Electrician Ray’s Electric & General Contracting, Inc. 33 Jericho Road, Berlin, NH 03570 ABOUT US For over 65 years, Ray’s Electric & General Contracting has been the trusted choice for electrical and general contracting services across New Hampshire’s North Country and beyond. We deliver expert solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential projects, backed by a deep commitment to quality, reliability, and craftsmanship. Our experienced team includes Master and Journeyman Electricians licensed in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. Under new ownership, we’re building on our strong foundation and expanding into new, exciting projects that challenge our skills and open doors for growth. From complex industrial builds to government projects to custom commercial work, every job brings something new. If you’re looking for a place where your skills are respected, your work matters, and you have the chance to learn and advance, we’d love to talk.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled Electrician who wants more than just the same job every day. This is a hands-on role where you’ll handle everything from installations and troubleshooting to renovation projects and general contracting work. You’ll be part of a tight-knit crew that takes pride in doing high-quality work and solving problems on a variety of project types. Beyond electrical work, you’ll also have opportunities to learn new skills across excavation, mechanical, and full-scale construction projects, depending on the needs of the job. If you enjoy variety, take pride in your craft, and want long-term career growth, this role offers a clear path forward.

RECENT PROJECTS

Our work is never the same from one job to the next. Recently, we completed a full RV campground development at Jericho Mountain State Park , where we installed complete underground electrical systems, new water and septic infrastructure, stormwater management systems, and expanded event space. At Montshire Packing , we’ve been upgrading a large-scale meat processing facility, reworking refrigeration systems, expanding production capacity, and improving drainage to support increased daily throughput. For Credo Fresh Wildwood , our team installed complex agricultural climate control systems, including specialized electrical work, horizontal recirculation fans, sulfur evaporators, and automation controls, while also completing trenching and excavation for building expansion. On the heavy civil side, we’re leading the full bridge replacement at Bog Dam Road , managing everything from structural steel fabrication and timber decking to erosion control, river stabilization, and major excavation work. These types of complex, high-impact projects are what set us apart — and what make the work here both challenging and rewarding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
