New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is actively seeking anElectrician for a 4-month Contract position with the potential fora contract extension or conversion.
Compensation:
$35.50 per hourThe main function of an electrician is to install, maintain, andrepair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. A typicalelectrician is responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining orrepairing electrical equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Measure, cut,and bend wired and conduit, using measuring instruments and handtools. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts andsupplies in order. Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboringduties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of awide variety of electrical systems and equipment. Disassembledefective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts,and reassemble equipment, using hand tools. Examine electricalunits for loose connections and broken insulation and tightenconnections, using hand tools.
Required Qualifications:
5 years ofcommercial/industrial electrical experience. Active Journeyman’selectrical license. High school diploma or equivalent. Validdriver’s license. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasksefficiently. Computer skills necessary to interface with machineryprograms. Demonstrate a high level of communication, cooperation,and teamwork with team members and fellow employees. Onlycandidates available and ready to work directly as NewJourney/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
