The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Maintenance Electrician will be responsible to assist the facilities team with the general maintenance & repair of facility electrical systems.
Responsibilities
Install & maintain wiring, control & lighting systems
Inspect electrical components such as transformers & circuit breakers
Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
Read blueprints and/or technical diagrams
Assist team with facility repairs including but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, concrete repair and sheetrock
Obtain and maintain various certifications in regards to electric, HVAC and plumbing
Respond quickly to resolve unanticipated issues
Troubleshoot root cause of problems in a cost effective manner in accordance with Maintenance Team and Supervisor
Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects
The pay range for this position is $22 – $22 per hour
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent
1-2 years work experience with electrical system maintenance & repair
Must be able to work Saturdays
Must be able to commute into and out of Manhattan/New York City on a daily basis
