GENERAL PUBLIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled tradesperson which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training, apprenticeship, or equivalent program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services. The chosen candidate will be required to obtain a Class B permit issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle within 30 days of their appointment. They must obtain a Class B license as a condition of satisfactory completion of the probationary period. The preferred candidate will have experience working under a journey level electrical tradesman or have apprenticeship training in the electrical trade. Preferred experience includes the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial electrical systems. The preferred candidate will also have some experience in other recognized skilled trades such as HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry. Additional comments regarding the vacancy. ADDITIONAL PAY INFORMATION

The salary range for this position includes all applicable annual components of pay which are: Base Pay Range from Hiring Rate $29.51 up to Job Rate $31.95.

Location Pay:

$0.85 for Mid-Hudson.

Recruitment & Retention Pay:

$3.37.
