Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and industrial maintenance, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves working on-site (travel required) to maintain, fabricate, and troubleshoot various electrical components and systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
Perform field service tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Utilize AutoCAD for designing and modifying electrical schematics as needed.
Conduct industrial maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Maintain and troubleshoot distributed control systems (DCS) for optimal operation.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Work with hydraulics and high voltage systems safely and effectively.
Program and troubleshoot logic controllers to enhance system functionality.
Collaborate with team members to fabricate custom electrical solutions based on project requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in field service or a similar role within the electrical industry.
Proficiency in creating and interpreting electrical designs, material take offs from drawing schematics.
Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices related to electrical systems.
Familiarity with Automation control systems is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience working with Three phase 208-480, Controllers, VFD’s, Load Cells, and high voltage systems is a plus.
Understanding of logic controllers and their programming is advantageous.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
