Maintenance Electrician 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 2800 Red Lion Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114 Southwark Metal Manufacturing Company is hiring an experienced Maintenance Electrician for our facility in Northeast Philadelphia, PA .

Pay:

$24-$28/hr depending on experience. Guaranteed raises at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months of employment.

Schedule:

We have one opening and are open to candidates interested in any of the following shifts. However, second shift is preferred.

First Shift:

7A-3:30P;

Monday-Friday Split Shift:

9A-5:30P;

Monday-Friday Second Shift:

3:30P-2A; Monday-Thursday What you’ll be doing: Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and electrical systems. Working with 120V, 240V, and 480V systems, including wiring, motors, circuit breakers, and control panels. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, online diagrams, and blueprints. Installing and servicing electrical conduit, switches, and equipment. Performing preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment running reliably. Diagnosing breakdowns and responding to equipment issues to minimize downtime. Using computers and maintenance software to document work and access technical information.

What we need:

1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent technical training. Hands-on experience with schematics, wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels. Familiarity with 120V and 240V electrical systems. Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical diagrams. Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and safely in a manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills for documentation and troubleshooting.
