$38 – $53/hour (Based on Experience) + Bonuses + Overtime United Better Homes is actively seeking a Licensed Electrical Journeyman to support our rapidly expanding Solar Division . This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, safety-first electrician who takes pride in quality work and wants to be part of a team delivering renewable energy solutions across MA and RI.

Responsibilities:

Perform residential solar installations, including interconnections and inverter wiring Complete panel upgrades, meter socket changes, and full service upgrades Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics Ensure all installations are compliant with NEC, state, and local codes Collaborate with solar project managers and installation teams Maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness Complete required documentation and inspections

Requirements:

Valid Journeyman Electrician License in Massachusetts or Rhode Island (Required) Minimum 2-3 years of electrical experience (solar or service upgrades preferred) Strong understanding of NEC and local code compliance Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to work on roofs, ladders, and in outdoor environments Must pass a background check and drug screening
