Maintenance Electrician Job Description:

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to work autonomously, adhering to plant PPE and safety protocols. Must handle, operate, and maintain electrical equipment (motors, generators, transformers, etc.) and use maintenance tools efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Follow plant PPE and safety protocols. Perform routine electrical tasks independently. Maintain and operate electrical equipment. Use electrical maintenance tools and testing devices. Troubleshoot ladder logic and electrical devices. Work with PLC5 RS Logic, proximity switches, limit switches, VSD, and 480V motors (AC).

Essential Skills:

Experience with overhead cranes. 3-5+ years in a heavy industrial environment. Proficiency in PLC, ladder logic, and motor troubleshooting. Ability to read ladder logic and identify issues. Experience with PLC5 RS Logic, proximity switches, limit switches, VSD, and 480V motors (AC).

Additional Skills:

Work Environment:

Heavy industrial setting, non-climate controlled, some areas extremely hot. Maintenance team of 86 members, goal headcount of 106.

Dress code:

steel-toed boots, hardhat, safety glasses, ear plugs, additional PPE. Rotating shift schedule (Dupont/swing shift), potential mandatory overtime. Flexible schedule, including straight day shifts (6:00 am to 2:30 pm).

Job Type & Location:

Permanent position based in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00

• $78000.00/yr.
• 9.58% shift differential once they move onto swing shift (Approximately an extra 3/hr)
• They can test every 6 months to test into higher tech level and get pay increase
• Only non-union smelter facility in the U.S
• 401K matches 6%. Benefits start on Day 1 (Full medical, dental and vision coverage
• very competitive benefits and multiple options. You can get full copy during interview)
• $300 tool stipend each year
• All uniforms and PPE are provide by company, including prescription safety glasses
• Free clinic onsite for check ups or any issues that happen during the day
• Quarterly bonus up to 10% of what they have made in total that quarter. This is based on company profitability. They currently are averaging 4-6% per quarter oQuarter bonus is tied to attendance.

• If you work 6 days in a row, on your 6th day you are paid x1.75. If you work 7 days in a row, your 7th day is double pay
