Low Voltage Technician Team Industry 1033 Wappoo Rd, Charleston, SC 29407 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems including cabling, CCTV, alarm systems, and computer networking. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently in various field service environments. Responsibilities Install and configure low voltage cabling for various systems including CCTV and alarm systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations. Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and networking equipment. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Provide training to clients on system operation, including remote access software. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls. Requirements Proven experience in cabling, computer networking, or electrical systems. Certification in low voltage installation or related fields is preferred. Proficiency with power tools and hand tools used in installation processes. Familiarity with CCTV systems and alarm system sales is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and teamwork. Ability to work independently in a field service capacity while managing time efficiently.
