Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Four (4) years of experience, to include: installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electric energy (e.g., generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, etc.), working from blueprints or drawings, troubleshooting electrical systems, and computations of working standards relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
Must have notable experience working with National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance requirements and able locate and interpret the latest code compliance standards when necessary for specific applications.
Must have experience working with and shaping metal conduit om location.
Will be required to attend antenna climbing/rescuer training and certify to climb antenna towers in excess of 50 ft.
Extensive travel (CONUS and OCONUS) is required as on-site installations range from 6 to 12 weeks at a time, depending on site requirements.
Must have a current passport or the ability to obtain one.
An active Secret security clearance is required.
