Job Summary:

The client is hiring an Industrial Electrical Technician II to join their 1st shift operations & maintenance team. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of buildings and facilities equipment. Responsibilities include performing basic repairs on electrical systems (e.g., lighting, switches, outlets), using diagnostic tools, and ensuring safety standards are met. The technician will also assist with the movement of equipment, operate lifts, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The position may require flexible shifts, overtime, and holiday work.

Key Requirements:

Basic electrical and mechanical maintenance skills
Ability to perform troubleshooting and repairs
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures (e.g., Lockout Tagout)
Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and overtime as needed
High school diploma or equivalent.
