Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a thorough knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Will need to have leadership skills to give clear directions/instructions to an apprentice/helper. Also, as an Electrician you will need to have the ability to work with company owners, architects, and contractors. Some traveling and after-hours work could be required.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret work orders, tape measure, blueprints, technical diagramsKnowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standardsFollows federal, state, and local electrical and building codes when planning and conducting workEnsure all work is performed in a safe and efficient mannerProvide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clientsRead and interpret work orders, tape measure, blueprints, technical diagramsCollaborate with other construction professionals as neededWork from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, and man liftsEnsures the property for which he/she has been assigned (tools, materials, equipment, etc.) is secure and in working conditionPerform routine maintenance on electrical systemsIdentify electrical problems using a variety of testing devicesInspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakersTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issuesAbility to install or terminate conduit, wire, cable, and control systemsAbility to install and terminate panels, switchboards, fixtures, and other electrical equipmentRepair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using different types of hand tools and power toolsPerforms lifting, positioning, holding, fastening, drilling, or hammering objects, such as conduit, motors, fixtures, poles, and other objects for installation or removalB
