Industrial Electrical Technician 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 2200 Congaree Drive, Cayce, SC 29033 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical work and be proficient in using various electrical tools and equipment. This role involves working on construction sites, ensuring that electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired according to industry standards and safety regulations. The Electrician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical services while adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC). Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings. Utilize power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Ensure compliance with NEC standards and local building codes during all installations and repairs. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions. Perform frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations. Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial electrician or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter). Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and other trades on-site. Must be physically fit to perform manual labor tasks associated with the job.
