JOB SUMMARY
Performemergency unscheduled, scheduled corrective and preventativemaintenance on equipment and infrastructure at Marley EngineeredProducts site.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as the primary resource for the maintenance team forprocess/machine control issues. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, identify theroot cause, and return the equipment to safe, efficient operatingconditions. Perform scheduled corrective maintenance. Perform preventative maintenance on schedule per assigned taskinstructions on equipment and systems. Identify improvement opportunities and work with theMaintenance Leader and Manufacturing Engineers to develop andimplement a solution. Maintain industrial electrical systems, including wire 480V 3PHequipment, troubleshoot electric circuits & controls, replace orinstall electric components (i.e., sensors, switches) Responsible for safe work habits, housekeeping of assigned workareas, and quality of work. Record work performed, parts used, and time required in theMaintenance Management System.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Capable of lifting 50 Lbs. and 20 Lbs. overhead. Bending, squatting, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching. Climb ladders operate man lifts and scissor lifts. Able to wear a safety harness when required to perform elevatedwork duties. Working in elevated temperatures > 90F and cold temperatures
EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCEAssociate degree (AAS) or an equivalentfrom two-year College or technical school in a technical field orequivalent combination of education, technical or militaryexperience 3 to 5 years industrial maintenance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &ABILITIES
Must have a working knowledge of electrical andelectro-mechanical/hydraulic systems. Strong PLC and computer-based system experience Experience with industrial electricity 480VVoltageC Controlvoltage Ability to read and interpret maintenance-related drawings(electrical/mechanical), schematics, and sketches. Must have strong computer skills using Windows-basedenvironments, email, and the internet. Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment withskills in electrical systems, equipment, and buildinginfrastructure. Mechanical overhaul experience on flywheel-driven equipment,hydraulic press equipment, and gearboxes. Experience and training in LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space,Forklift, Overhead Crane & Rigging.
