Electrical Maintenance Technician
1st Shift
Mon-Fri / 7am-3:30pm
(With on Call Requirements)
$20+ based on experience
Spartanburg, SC•PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician on behalf of our client in Spartanburg, SC.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems in a plastic bag manufacturing facility, ensuring continuous and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment (motors, VFDs, PLCs, etc.).
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery.
Replace faulty electrical components and install new equipment.
Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs/HMIs (if applicable).
Work with 3-phase power and high-voltage systems.
Conduct electrical safety inspections.
Maintain maintenance records.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams.
Adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED; technical degree preferred.
2-3 industrial electrical maintenance experience (plastics a plus).
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting.
Proficient in reading electrical schematics.
PLC/HMI experience.
Understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with plastic processing machinery.
Electrical maintenance certifications.
