Maintenance Electrician

    Your responsibilities
    To perform efficient maintenance work with a minimum of supervision in an effort to achieve the site’s business goals.

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties in all areas of the factory. These duties include the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility equipment. In addition to these duties all work must be completed according to the company’s safety program.

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install, relocate, and maintain production and facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and maintain CNC equipment
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours
  • Perform Scheduled PMs on production equipment during off hours
  • Single and three phase electrical installs
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment reliability
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Ability to read and create electrical diagrams
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Use 5S to maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Comply with BSH and OSHA Safety and Health rules
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Process
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

  • Associate degree (or 4 year apprenticeship)
  • Required
  • Certification (Limited License Electrician (LLE))
  • Required
  • 3-5 Years of Experience (Industrial Electrical Experience)
  • Required
  • Strong PLC knowledge preferred
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions
  • Must have good communication and planning skills
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Two (2) years of College and/or a four (4) year apprenticeship preferred
  • Good understanding of plant and environmental safety
  • Excellent communications, organizational, teamwork and computer skills.
  • Mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulic, pneumatic and knowledge.
  • Ability to part and equipment drawings
  • MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MSWord required
  • SAP or experience with other MRP System applications
  • Mills, drill presses, lathes and saws
  • MS Project & MS Access preferred
  • Ability to read diagrams
  • Must be able to use a large variety of hand and industrial tools
    Your Pay & Benefits
    The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title.

Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
