Electrical Mechanical Technician Location:

NorthTonawanda, NY Training on 1 st shift, then move to 2 nd shift (3pmto 11pm) or 3rd Shift (11pm to 7am) As an Electrical Technician,you will be responsible for s upport ing the operation of afast-paced packaging manufacturing facility.

• The idealcandidate m ust be able to conduct, maintain , test and repairelectrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsand components.
• Must be able to apply knowledge ofelectrical/mechanical principles in determining equipmentmalfunctions and restore in all areas of Manufacturing.

Primaryduties include the install, start up and shut down of equipment inaccordance with company safety procedures for machine activationand shutdown in line with OSHA requirements; inform appropriatemanagement and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanicalproblems and inherent dangers involved and maintaincompany-required performance and maintenance records for identifiedequipment.

• The job also includes performing preventativemaintenance functions as directed, assisting maintenance personnelwith technical troubleshooting, and performing other duties asrequired .

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment toworking safely and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment, possess a strong desire to learn the maintenance ofcomplex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Electrical License required. Previous electrical maintenance experience in industrial ormanufacturing setting Military training and/or technical school preferred Computer experience/operation and PLC Programming Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment, followspecific directions, and perform other duties as assigned. Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe workenvironment, and comply with all safety regulations. A thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipmentincluding the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposesWhat we offer:
